XP037 - ABSTRACT STRUCTURES COLLAPSING INSTANTLY INWARD

After releasing their second full-length album "Terrace" in 2020, the Italian/Swiss garage black metal trio Deathvoid is back with a new demo-tape named "Semaphore". Aesthetics, lyrics and visuals remain coherent to the band's trademark uncommon imagery for ultra noisy raw black metal (and for a demo-tape especially), and their uncompromising impenetrability with sound and noise manipulation can again be found on this release as well, while getting a bit more adventurous on the 10+ minute title track "Semaphore".
The cover artwork depicts an ancient coastal semaphore used to transmit visual signals to ships.
Signals and codes are an underyling theme for this demo, both visual and sound-wise.
Releasing on June 4th on digital and cassette format, limited to 20 hand-numbered copies on high-grade black tape, featuring a 4-page booklet with lyrics, additional artwork and a riddle section.
Hints for this riddle can be found in a .txt file inside the digital album folder and on the album's Bandcamp page. Digital download also includes the booklet with the riddle section. There is a special prize for completing the riddle.
